This dual model, which sees human nature as fixed with biologically assigned roles for men and women, is contrasted to additional models, most notably a multi-polar anthropology which sees human nature as informed by culture. A program evaluation instrument was prepared in the form of a survey that was included in every teacher's manual of the beginner, primary and junior curriculum during the summer 2005 quarter (June, July, August).  Through the use of thirty definitive statements and three open-ended questions, the evaluation instrument examined the quality and effectiveness of four areas of the curriculum as observed by the teacher: the teacher's manual, the learner's manual, the make and take portion, and the visual aids.  The author found that the curriculum researched did not help the teacher teach the Bible as accurately, plainly, age-appropriately and applicationally as it should. Many of the people moving to our community are members of the Bridger Generation, which is the second largest generation in American history.  This generation is very different from previous generations.  The challenge for the church is to develop a strategy to evangelize the young adults.  This project researched strategic methods used to evangelize young adults.  Upon completion of the research, the project director led a select group of young adults to create a strategy to evangelize young adults in Apopka, Florida. Although the congregation decided not to reinstitute the office of deacon at this time, significant learning and growth in perspective occurred concerning the nature of change in small congregations. The projected director conducted research through means of an annotated bibliography of recommended books by academicians and from other professionals in the field of church growth ministry.  The project director had an expert in the field of curriculum development tutor him in curriculum development and evaluate his lesson plans.  Once tutoring had taken place, the project director developed a workshop consisting of six ninety-minute sessions.  The project director led these sessions for the selected group of First Baptist Church, Pontotoc, for the purpose of equipping them to implement the seeker-sensitive service. The researcher seeks to answer the question: what can be done to encourage the development of a leader's heart, so that he or she becomes more useful, effective, and productive in God's administration of the world? The researcher of this applied research project seeks to identity stimuli that motivate a leader to choose God's will in place of one's own will.  One attempt the researcher has made to develop a leader's heart is through a leadership development program he calls 'faithful serving: lessons for entrusted leaders.' Spiritual tensions arise in personal and community contexts when faithful Christian stewardship is not practiced. This Doctor of Ministry Project researched the underlying biblical and historical sources of Orthodox offering practices.  Members of three Orthodox Christian mission parishes were engaged in a dialog, to probe existing beliefs and practices of financial offering and the explore the Orthodox vision of stewardship. This project consisted of developing six lessons on prayer principles that would help train church members to grow in praying through growth barriers. Surveys were taken, classes were held and follow-up steps were implemented to pray through growth barriers.
