The first chapter describes some complaints from the parishioners in the diocese of Kirinyaga of clergy who are currently serving in various parishes and are not qualified enough to meet the needs of the Christians in the pews.  The second chapter is an outline of curriculum issues in ACK colleges.  The third chapter gives Biblical Foundations for Theological Education, and the impact of these foundations on theological education today.  The fourth chapter presents the research data analysis based on the five categories of the respondents who completed and returned the questionnaires.  There respondents were: students, clergy, laity, tutors and bishops. An outline of the issues and concerns put forward by the respondents shows that review and evaluation of the current curriculum is urgent and important. The church leadership team is strengthened when a strategic transition plan is implemented that allows the senior pastor to 'leave well' and the church to progress even after his departure. The project director worked with the church leadership team to effectuate such a plan. It identified and addressed the strategic and practical issues created by the senior pastor's transition. The goal of the project is to develop material that can be used in congregations and by individuals for study and reflection on the subject of money in corporate and individual life. The purpose of this project is two-fold. First, to offer research and evaluation for the seminary/academic community on the subject of our internal, personal relationship with money and the human behaviors that result from that relationship. Second, to offer a theological and theoretical framework for every audience by which to approach the various narratives. It is hoped this information will have an underlying usefulness for the church as it articulates faithful responses to such theological issues as stewardship and economic justice. The techniques which were taught were drawn from various monastic traditions and Christian mystics from throughout the ages.  They were presented over the course of eight weeks of study.  In addition to learning various styles of contemplative prayer the participants were asked to employ them for at least 15 minutes a day, five days a week, for each of the eight weeks. Biblical exegesis demonstrates that baptism, though multivalent, is the rite of entrance into the new community established by the redeeming work of Christ.  An historical survey of the Reformed tradition, giving special attention to the work of John Calvin and the documents of the Westminster Assembly, concludes that the Reformed tradition has held to a highly developed baptismal theology, seeing the sacrament not as a mere symbol but as an instrumental means of grace.  Baptismal theology has, however, become a source of debate and division, often focused on the question of 'baptismal regeneration.'
