A variety of methods for approaching case consultations have been primarily physician-focused, leaving the role of the clinical ethicist from the perspective of the family overlooked.  Indicating a gap in the process of end-of-life decision making, family members identified seven categories about their experience of decision making. Throughout the process, the practicum observed how this concept of family could effectively function to support the participants to build a close relationship with each other and to identify themselves as part of the whole church family in a small group setting. The project was conducted for four weeks from May 22 to June 12, 2005. Fifteen people recruited from the church. The class met every Sunday from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. during the period. In the class, the participants explored the meaning of being a healthy church family in light of biblical and Korean family models and established an intimate relationship with each other. They were also encouraged to practice spiritual disciplines as daily assignments. The practicum enabled participants to identify the church as their own spiritual family and perceive one another as their brothers and sisters in Christ. Their spiritual growth has influenced other members to recognize a new movement around the church. It was hypothesized that Jungian Personality Type Theory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator could be effective means for enhancing students' self-understanding.  A teaching program was designed to study the effects.  A quasi-experimental method and a portfolio assessment of students learning were employed.  The findings indicated affirmative but not conclusive evidence. They were led through Ken Blanchard's three keys to empowerment -- sharing information, clarifying boundaries to create autonomy, and developing teams to replace the hierarchy. In order to achieve this objective, the project leader enlisted nine people for training as a part of the project. The director preached eight sermons on various aspects of prayer and developed materials for eight sessions of instruction for nine people who composed the small group. These sermons and materials for the appendices. These nine people have become the catalysts for the implementation of an intercessory prayer ministry which was launched on June 5, 2005. The first goal is to understand the nature and discern the basic principles of intercessory prayer within the teachings of Jesus. Second is to develop an intercessory prayer ministry at the Lafayette Korean Baptist Church. The project leader's method for the implementation of these goals is to select a group of nine people and teach them the foundational elements on prayer that are found in the teachings of Jesus and to offer pragmatic opportunities to pray. This project will last for eight weeks. The final goal is to equip this core group for leadership responsibilities in launching a perennial intercessory ministry in their church. The method of study involved extensive research regarding church growth, development of an eight-session teaching plan, and presentation of the plan within the local church.
