Organizational change is a process that can be defined by common stages.  By studying organizational change, performing case studies, and drawing on my personal experience, specific stages of transformation for New Testament churches have been defined.  The case studies themselves are limited by criteria, which produce a beginning model.  The end result is defined by scriptural criteria for a New Testament church.  By examining the transformational process of the four case study churches, which have met the criteria, and researching written material on organizational transformation, a multi-stage process specific to churches emerged.  This process was then used as a comparison to my current context as the senior pastor of Northside Baptist Church. We derived eight general principles about the seasons of revival, plus five leadership principles of those whom God has raised to lead in revival.  We then applied these principles into our local church to guide us in our pursuit of spiritual renewal. Eight African American women attended two health workshops and studied daily with the Fruit of the Spirit devotional guide over a three-week period.  The participants complete pre- and post-workshop questionnaires to determine any changes in their health and spiritual views after completing the program. The knowledge of medical and spiritual health of the women increased after the program. The programs were designed to create a sense of understanding, compassion and desire to reach out to victims. Each group was age-graded and was no larger than fifteen members.  A facilitator and assistant guided group discussion in each meeting.  The curriculum consisted of thirteen messages--prepared from the book of Ephesians--which revolved around the deepening of relationships and building biblical church fellowship.  Sunday morning messages were further discussed within each home group, with the aid of discussion guides.  Each group discussed how the messages would positively and negatively affect the health of the church fellowship. The acknowledgment of a 'paralysis' is the first movement toward healing. The methodologies used to achieve these goals were pretests, posttests, questionnaires, and qualitative research data. The project consisted of four ninety-minute sessions which focused on renewed energy and change. Twenty-six sessions of preaching and classroom instructions enabled the children to develop the foundation of spiritual competency and practical skill level development to be utilized in society. The results of the model were implemented with a qualitative analysis method. The objective of this project was to determine if compassionate spiritual, emotional, and practical assistance to widows during the critical bereavement period would be helpful. The methodology selected for the model included a questionnaire, interviews, observations, and feedback. A pro-active / qualitative research design was used for this project.
