Employing a comparative literary approach, it compares and contrasts the structures and themes in selected Lukan parables with comparable sermonic material preserved in the Dead Sea Scrolls. The author also provides a methodology for preparing a mystagogical homily. Utilizing the Narrative Inquiry research method, the author explores the stories shared by interchurch facilitators of marriage preparation programs and interchurch engaged couples in an effort to develop a relevant marriage preparation session for interchurch couples. The project involved enlisting eighteen collegiate facilitators for the training workshop.  The workshop consisted of eight sessions taught in four days.  The dates of implementation were May 22-26, 2003.  After the training, the workship and the participants were evaluated.  The project director assessed the findings by using post-tests, covenant cards, and role-playing. First, the project director will review models of strategies for planting Hispanic congregations.  The project director will then lead select members of Calvary Baptist Church to develop a strategy for planting a Hispanic congregation in Waynesboro, Mississippi.  Finally, the director will begin the early implementation process. The project director will secure a demographic report from the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board.  David Alexander, field mentor, will provide a brief synopsis providing interpretation of the demographics.  Moreover, a relationship with Gustavo Salazar, a Hispanic pastor from Laurel, Mississippi, will complement the research of this people group. The strategy will be developed through four training sessions of select members of Calvary Baptist Church.  The sessions will include an introduction to the Hispanic culture, a review of existing strategies, and a synthesis of strategy unique to the ministry field.
