Researching the church's recent investments of time and money in missions, studying the missions assignment of Jesus' first followers, receiving input from selected church members, and preaching a sermon series on missions contributed to the development of this plan. The student was then to present the strategy to the administration of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS).  The project was to develop a strategy that would increase the likelihood that graduates of NOBTS would become financial supporters of the institution.  Among the hundreds of thousands of titles that have been published that related to fund-raising in higher education, little material was available that was specific to this area of research.  This area of research was concentrated on how other institutions of higher education were developing currently enrolled students so they will eventually become financial supporters of the institution.  A group of development directors at select schools were interviewed by the project director. Each director was asked the same series of questions that related to how they raised money.  Each was asked specifically about how they were attempting to instill a sense of responsibility for the institution in their currently enrolled student body. The project has shown that a Christian pastor can follow a course of action, which will result in the reduction of this relative insignificance.  The reduction is shown through comparing surveys administered before and after a program of emphasis on the Lord's Supper. A case study for this project was from those completing a new members' course at the Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN.  Data was collected by way of survey with questions pertaining to the biblical aspects of community, purpose, and structure. Opening with the possibilities of Multiple Intelligences in the adult classroom, the second chapter examines how the MI theory functions within current materials.  The third chapter develops a prototype Bible study specifically using MI theory.  The fourth chapter is a critical self-evaluation of this project and what this project might add as a resource for the adult Christian education leader. The author reviewed worship in the Reformed tradition and analyzed current problems in the worship practices of the Korean Presbyterian churches. Data was gathered through survey of literature and questionnaires were given to pastors and lay people to assess their understanding of principles of reformed worship. The study was conducted with ten Christian ten leaders and three observers in a seven week Bible study focusing on the process of spiritual transformation.  The study was measured by a pre-study questionnaire, a post-study questionnaire, and an evaluation.  The results of the study indicated significant change in spiritual gifting.
