In the opening chapter, research is presented that demonstrates a widespread lack of doctrinal emphasis within evangelical churches.  Chapter two addresses the question as to why believers should study Bible doctrine.  Chapter three consists of a narrative of completed class sessions. The methods used in this research are from the perspectives of statistics, biblical theology and practical theology. There are two parts of this research. The first part is an analysis of the Church in Taiwan today.  The second part is to develop strong preaching, strong personal evangelism, power healing and personal participation of the pastor based on Bible. It is essential for a minister to renew himself continuously on the Words of God. He is to grow by understanding his own character and value formation. Through reflection, he will be able to build up a healthy view on himself. A minister has to view the success of life from God's perspective and not by any human standards. In the process, there are problems on personal, familial and spiritual dimensions. The need for this school prompted the author of this project to begin such a school, with the help of a church in Kamloops.  This was accomplished by assessing the desire for such an institution from potential students by means of a questionnaire that was sent to churches in and around Kamloops.  The district officials were also polled and when the results were evaluated, the serious planning for the opening of the school went forward.  The school opened and had twenty students initially signed up.  The first class was taught and the project ended at that point, even though other classes were planned.  There is an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the project. The author researched current literature on community and small group ministry, and interviewed successful practitioners in the area of community development.
