Most members associate 'priest' with Roman Catholicism and 'minister' with 'anyone in God's service,' but both words have a formal, ecclesiastical connotation for most members without reference to a common priestly ministry of every Christian. Even those members most deeply involved in ministry feel little personal identification with 'priesthood.'
