A survey of new members added to a congregation over a four-year period reveals that more than 90 percent joined and were baptized as a result of attending the class. In the class the participants' stories become the stories of those who share them in reading and hearing. At this point the text seems to explode. This transforming Bible study method offers great possibilities for participants to transform and be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Rom 12:1-2).
