The model drew on Letty Russell's work in partnership and on proleptic strategic planning. Both models called for identifying vision before planning steps to get there.  As expected, partnership developed among the planners working toward a common interest. Serendipity, synergy and sharing characterized the budding partnership.  Beyond the original model, leadership that assured participation by all was important.  Clear lines of accountability, communication, and decision-making when planners reached the limits of institutional possibilities were also crucial. This project examines two critical biblical themes of human sinfulness and the principle of male domination/female submission.  Through a women's Bible study and discussion group the project investigates these themes and the women's relationship with the Bible. Three testing instruments assesed marital satisfaction while three others assessed problem-solving skills, self-esteem, and personal tendencies. The diversity that appears to be threatening unity and advancement of the postdenominational church is in fact a gift of God.  This diversity, under guidance of the Holy Spirit and (in part) through the ministry of preaching, can be harnessed for great good in carrying out local church mission.  The project directed a process that drafted a statement of congregational identity for approval by the congregation. This result was attributed to the inclusion of both active and potential leaders. The project prepares young adult leaders to develop a ministry plan for young adults, teaching them characteristics and needs of young adults, training them to develop and implement surveys, and directing them in developing a ministry plan based on survey results.  The ministry plan was evaluated by selected church leaders and three young adult ministers.
