Twelve to fifteen year old youth were invited to participate in eight two-hour sessions.  Four of the eight sessions also included parents of the youth. With basic training, a group of lay caregivers could fulfill the biblical injunction to encourage others, thereby relieving some of the counseling burden pastors now carry .  A group of twelve carefully selected members of Tiffany Fellowship Assembly of God were trained in specific caregiving skills around an 'encouraging' model of counseling. Bi-polar seminars and relationship studies were conducted with ministry and support staff personnel.  Measurement of trust instruments were filled out before and after the bi-polar studies and the results compared. The methodology can provide teachers effective ways to address student needs and encourage participation in the learning process.  Improved teachers' self-esteem will result from new skill and pastoral support. A three part methodology was designed that allowed teachers freedom to construct lesson plans for their specific class. Three one-hour training sessions introduced teachers to the methodology;  thirteen weeks of on-the-job training completed the training period.  Teachers were able effectively to address student needs, encourage participation, and improve their self-esteem. The method which this project follows is experiential and mystagogical.  The project concludes that significant growth in spiritual formation can and does take place in the worship service. Second, initial responses of long-time members differed significantly from initial resonses of 'beginners in faith'. Third, lay leaders often carry leadership burdens which sometimes hinder their ability to participate fully in worship.  Fourth, the person of the pastor plays a large role in the spiritual formation of the congregation. The artists adapted their art forms from secular society. Church architecture largely originated from traditional culture. One might conclude that Christian art has some Minjung elements. Korea has a rich cultural background with diverse, excellent artistic achievements.  Yet many Christian artists still are holding a conservative attitude influenced by Western thought patterns.  It is time to de-westernize Christian art in Korea.
