He taught how Douglas Wingeier, John Macquarrie and Donald Bloesch applied these same criteria to their theological studies. The different criteria that each theologian stressed was discussed with an adult class as they learned to accept or reject each criteria and to follow their own theological guideline in faith translation. The most important outcome of this type of mission is theological growth and Christian fellowship rather than the services it provides such as construction, evangelism or medicine.  The author presents a typology of contemporary missiology and discusses the development of the mission team movement. Participants are surveyed in order to measure personal missiological growth. The study begins with an examination of the evolution of the Baptist faith.  It depicts the eventual separation within the group between the Arminians and the Calvinists.  Out of the Arminian camp develop the Free Will Baptists.  The project analyzes the internal articulations and variations of the Free Will Baptists as well as their relationships to other Baptist groups.  Chapter two provides a methodology and a theory which accepts the doctrine of free will as the point of departure in the movement's theology. The author examines the strengths and limitations of these models of ministry.
