Bridging the gap between these established organizations requires assessment, education, and establishment of a means of inter-organization communication. This project's convergent parallel mixed method of research utilized a survey to assess organizations perceptions and group discussion to assess, educate, and initiate cross-communication. Barrier and facilitating factors were identified by combining themes from literature review and interviews of a convenience sample of 20 people from the population. From these factors, a survey was designed and disseminated. Data from the 89 respondents was analyzed by the researcher and Power to Change staff. A group study resource was developed focusing on one facilitating factor, 'take the initiative,' and it was pilot tested with a small group. The impact of this small project was assessed by interviewing the participants of a small group. This research project helped identify an inventory of what helps or hinders students connected to Power to Change to share the gospel with others. The church members also acknowledged that they lacked the skills necessary to engage Jehovah's Witnesses. The project director researched and apologetic methods. The study utilizes autoethnography, literature reviews, and both qualitative and quantitative research to identify five core competencies that are necessary for young clergywomen of color to thrive: self-awareness, strategic thinking, leadership, balance, and cultivating relationships. The author used surveys and interviews to ascertain the meaning images held not only for the individual members but also for pastors, visitors, and the congregation as an entity. While knowledge was gained, it was ultimately determined unsuccessful. A second project, a step back in the trip design of trips was created ('Making Your Trip a Pilgrimage') which assists tour leaders and organizers in designing and implementing pilgrimages to the Holy Land. The project design included seven interactive lessons, pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results revealed that the eleven participants were more missionally focused after engaging the discipleship training curriculum. Their awareness and knowledge to include others in God's missional intent grew. A cross-section of ministers from different levels of ministry and different age groups was selected. The project incorporated an eight-week Healing Care Group curriculum and a 15-question survey used to measure their responses. The results revealed a transformational change in the level of awareness of the group.
