The study materials were delivered to participants in an online environment. The teaching goals of this Bible study were to enable believers to understand and reflect on essential Christian doctrines, apply it to their daily lives, and engage in biblical behavioural practices as a result. This project was conducted and tested with twenty participants. Data collection tools included an initial written narrative, the responses to a 14-week online study Created for Relationship, an online course evaluation survey, and a second written narrative. The findings indicate that CMB were aware of their need to learn and grow in their new relationship with God, however, discipleship in a world of online social connections requires the same intentional mentorship relationship as in-person discipleship. This project demonstrated that online discipleship can be complex, but is a feasible endeavor when a relational rapport has been established between the discipler and the disciple."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Logos Evangelical Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["54e7729a-4915-469f-8fd5-c7bb7ccd6c20"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134836170162177,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:41:30.476Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:29:07Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:13:18Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"be661881-b9f7-43af-8812-145ca8ff6db5","accessControl_ssim":["857c405e-96c1-404e-8402-927b293e277d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Fit to serve making seminaries models of health and wholeness"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:29:07Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:36:58Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ebfa02b2-0bc9-4223-b7ae-b26f00aa94c6"],"hasLease_ssim":["fc919253-4c39-45df-a15c-8e652dc5209e"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Stanley P Saunders"],"year_tesim":["2017"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Karen H Webster"],"publisher_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Students--Health and hygiene","Columbia Theological Seminary","Church work with students","Religious education"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Given the current health crisis in the United States (in which the Church plays a part), this project identifies the main health issues impacting the masters-level degree students at Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, Georgia), while providing valuable insight into what the students believe the Church's role is in formulating effective theological and practical approaches to these various health issues. Theological anthropology helps deconstruct the author's personal experience in Part One. Max Weber's theory of ideal types continues the author's systematic arguments for placing social location as a primary consideration in pastoral ministry in Part Two. In the final section conclusions are offered when a truth claim originating from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is tested by considerations of social location."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Catholic Theological Union"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b51273d2-7ff5-4ecb-af24-64508c2367ad"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129294101020672,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:13:25.147Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:28:37Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:20:42Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"f1008198-a8cd-4c61-a229-4d4cf9fe3d52","accessControl_ssim":["7c2426fd-6e4c-4d5d-9a66-bef0d10834bc"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["To Be Loved or God's Beloved, What Defines a Pastor's Identity?"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:28:36Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:00:46Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["8d4a5f29-23c3-4b1f-9e88-d188117309a0"],"hasLease_ssim":["76d3229c-ada7-4efe-97a6-db1003a9203a"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Jeffery L Tribble"],"year_tesim":["2017"],"location_tesim":["Georgia"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Daniel S Hagan"],"publisher_tesim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Clergy","Race relations","Laity","Pastoral theology","United Methodist Church"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["There exists for a pastor a tension between being loved by the people and living as God's Beloved.
