In this concurrent mixed-methods study, 227 participants completed quantitative survey items and 32 participants responded to a qualitative interview schedule. Spiritual vitality, evidenced through qualitative findings, was summarized as an outcome of a personal relationship with the triune God that is evident through the Christ-like qualities of a missionary who is resilient in the face of hardship. Precedent research, discussion of findings, and recommendations are included."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130779854569472,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:37:02.072Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:18:51Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:58:45Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"0379e7ea-f40d-4e39-92ed-9bb037256523","accessControl_ssim":["0fcdd658-439c-4c67-a168-a4f53114824b"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Pursuing kingdom growth by intentionally engaging our culture"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:18:51Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:13:19Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["9326b349-47e8-4adb-8b74-71e836c6b967"],"hasLease_ssim":["5f4f9c5f-156a-4047-b8de-1a8994b0f44b"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Bethel University"],"advisor_tesim":["Timothy Senapatiratne"],"year_tesim":["2016"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Florin Docea"],"publisher_tesim":["Bethel University"],"subject_tesim":["Evangelistic work","Christianity and culture","Christian life"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The goal of this research was to strengthen the church's ability to effectively engage the culture and expand the kingdom of God.
