Making disciples becomes the paramount process of this search.  Research is used to explore the theological rationale of the disciple-making mandate and establish the theoretical presuppositions in order to implement them in the context of a local church.  This report reflects the process of training a group of laypeople to become spiritual mentors who are abale to produce other disciples. The purpose of this project was to develop a system for ongoing training of qualified lay members in the church who could move into various core ministries.  The project consisted of eight Leadership Training seminars geared to prepare prospective leaders to assume leadership responsibilities.  Pre-and post-surveys and project objectives were used for evaluating the project. The model focused on God's missional pathway of discipleship that reveals a form of Synergistic Spiritual Transformation (SST).  The objective was to launch the model to revitalize discipleship within the leaders and members of Oak Grove Baptist Church.  The reserach revealed an increase in overall spiritual grwoth over the duration of the project.  The attendance went from 80 to over It includes the theological foundations for discipleship as well as the creative process of conveying said discipleship through creative language and visual tools.  The project addresses the linguistic challenge Christian Churches can experience as a result of generational and theological differences.  This project is a culmination of Westbrook Church's experience as it sought to create congregational minstry allignment by means of new metaphor that would expression the mission of the church found in Matthew 28:18-20. A carefully selected group of 15 members was trained in order that they understand the biblical mandate of evangelism and become active evangelists.  The doctrinal studies covered 4 weeks followed by 6-weeks of actual evangelism training. Over the course of the project, the project director stressed the importance of the Great Commission, led powerful evangelism training whilestressing the missional aspects of the church.  The evangelism teams were formed consisting of 2-3 individuals.
