Using quantitative and qualitative research methods to study the impact of the revitalization training on the participants, the researcher concluded that the hypothesis was correct.  The theological chapter studies church revitalization leaders as strategic, missionary leaders. The curriculum for the weekend highlighted five disciplines that would be most useful for worship leaders: worship, Bible intake, prayer, solitude and silence, and service.  The project director used various learning methods to train these worship leaders in the five disciplines.  During the five sessions of the equipping workshop, the worship leaders practiced the spiritual disciplines. To accomplish this the project director first conducted research in the area of spiritual formation. From this research he identified six spiritual disciplines that he deemed essential to effective spiritual formation, namely Scripture intake, prayer, worship, confession, service, and witness. He then created a curriculum comprised of seven sessions, covering the concept of discipline and each of the six identified spiritual disciplines. He implemented the curriculum in six one-hour meetings of the course of six weeks. The project director aspired to engage local churches to reach and disciple single adults in a manner relevant to their ministry setting. As single adult ministries have waned, few models exist to reach the population in an adaptable way with local church environments, and this project addressed that need. The project director researched the state of single's ministry in the United States. In this research the project director conducted two major approaches to study. Fastest growing churches in America and a sample of Southern Baptist Churches were contacted for survey. Serving others in the intensity of the trauma and long-term recovery of a disaster can take a physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional toll on caregivers. A retreat was established for spiritual caregivers to be part of a supportive community of others with similar experience of disaster caregiving. Spiritual caregivers were given the opportunity to explore their own experiences and feelings in a comfortable, safe environment and inviting format. These challenges created many conflicts within the congregation. In order to solve the problem at hand, the author researched the implications of missional ecclesiology for leadership through adapting the Wesleyan class meetings. The author formed and led a six weeks 'Class Leadership Training (CLT)' for the leadership that rose up in them would be able to move the entire congregation toward a more a missional response to its changing context.
