The study proposed a pragmatic approach of engagement with and education of the youth. The methodology combined direct instruction for youth on Islam's nonviolent beliefs with group activities to encourage community cohesion. The author compared and analyzed a pre-program written survey with a final survey. The author first heightened parishioners interest in personal evangelism, then demonstrated that personal evangelism was biblical and created a six-part training program to equip them on how to do personal evangelism. Participants were then given the opportunity to implement the principles they learned in order to determine the effectiveness of this strategy. The study demonstrated that personal evangelism is an effective strategy to grow a congregation. The participants engaged in church growth opportunities and were surveyed based upon their participation. The project discovered that one of the hindrances to church growth is a lack of personal ownership and commitment of members in a new or existing church. Seven goals directed the resource: demonstrates God's desire for intimacy, readers' desire for intimacy, indicates relationship between engaging in the disciplines and spiritual growth, provides a flexible guide, contains helpful strategies, contains practical discuss on the disciplines; and integrates scripture.
