The program aims to measure quantitatively the increase of their satisfaction and commitment to their relationship over a period of five months. A total of two hundred participants will be included. The outcome over time will be determined through a statistical comparison of pre-seminar data versus post-seminar data from the couples. A primary objective was to embody sacred presence in the community. Another objective was to discover principles, practices, language, and metrics for the ministry of presence. The project was rooted in the practices of table fellowship, spiritual formation, and engagement with the Other through invitational conversation, acts of charity, and hospitality. Using qualitative research methosd the researcher demonstrated that the best practices found among secular organizations in pursuing diversity are effective when implemented in a large predominately white church. Field research consisted of surveys, focus groups, and interviews in three congregations. Research focused on the barriers and incentives to assuming a leadership role, characteristics of leaders, models for structuring leadership, and equipping the congregations to participate in leadership. The research showed the largest factor in engaging leadership is a personal invitation by a respected leader. This direct appeal counteracts a common fear of not being qualified. The researcher took a qualitative approach to descriptive research. She interviewed Tamajaq speakers regarding the nature of wisdom, traits of wise people, and ways of acquiring wisdom. She proposed developing 'The path of Wisdom for the Tamajaq,' to present biblical teaching through storytelling, poetry, and song, illustrated by Tamajaq proverbs. The initial church's understanding of Christ is encapsulated in passages scattered through the New Testament called Christological hymns. The project sought to discover whether a sermon series that unpacks and contextualizes the Christology found in these hymns will enhance college students' understanding of who Christ is, and why we serve him wholeheartedly. Follow-up discussion included Brainology, exercises using growth mindset theories, and effects of self-hatred. The Dweck mindset test and Sorensen self-esteem test were used. The results indicated a categorical reduction of self-hatred. The growth mindset provided a positive way of experiencing themselves. By viewing challenges and setbacks as opportunities one does not experience setbacks and challenges in a negative way. The results also indicated that self-hatred is increased by failure and is a negative way of experiencing oneself when one cannot fully engage and use one's abilities to the utmost in pursuit of something one values.
