Understanding these views can help Chinese pastors to preach God's word effectively and to educate their congregations about the significance of expository preaching in pulpit ministry.  This study employed a qualitative design, using semi-structured interviews. The review of literature and analysis of the eight interviews focused on three key areas of preaching that revealed the views of the lay leaders on what constituted biblical preaching. These areas of focus were: the views of lay leaders on preaching in light of their various church experiences in different countries, the views of lay leaders on preaching in relation to other contexts of teaching the Bible in the church, and the views of lay leaders on expository preaching. This study revealed that male and female of Chinese lay leaders share similar views of preaching. God's goodness can become blurred and muted by parenting difficulties and limitations. The problem studied was the effect a four-month group intervention with parents, focused upon the Triune God's goodness and gratitude rhythms, had on reducing parenting stress. Quantitative results of the four month group intervention were statistically significant and supported by the qualitative results. Those who practiced the gratitude rhythms expressed reduced parenting stress (12.6%) and pulse pressure (9.8%). Managing stress, loss, relationships, compassion fatigue and burnout were common challenges. In response, the researcher drew insights from the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) highlighting the importance of discipleship as an intentional pursuit instead of an accidental venture.  The literature review dealt with current and relevant issues within the Naga society.  A mixed methods approach along with grounded theory was the research path.  The research revealed that discipleship, although deemed important was not happening in most churches. The testimony of the original Lesallian educational model, the contemporary canon of Lasallian texts, and the lived reality in God's mission field reveals the proper relation between education and justice in the Lesallian idiom. Grounded theory was the primary research methodology and data was gathered from interviews with people who struggled with doubt.  This data was used to develop a strategy for people going through doubt and for pastors helping others process doubt. The praxis director recruited four such individuals to pursue clarity in their callings. He does so by having them utilize a clarified vocabulary, an examination of biblical and historical examples of those called of God, and an assessment of spiritual gifting within the context of a small group. We see Jesus display God's heart through Luke 4:16-21 of the New Testament. By God's power and anointing, Jesus spreads the heavenly gospel to display that Christ is the Messiah and also God and thus fulfilling Isaiah 61:1-3. After Jesus rose again and ascended into Heaven, the disciples gathered in Jerusalem to await the promised Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples during the Pentecost, bringing them authority and enabling them to proclaim the heavenly gospel throughout the nations. By Christ's great power, many people received healing and deliverance. This research also includes the deductions made by experts on this subject and personal experiences in ministry to analyze the probable method that 'healing and deliverance' will be valued and utilized by churches to shepherd their people. The research content and area of this dissertation: 1.To investigate the theological principles behind 'healing and deliverance' and investigate the methods Jesus and his disciples used to serve; 2.Study the work of destruction Satan has initiated on Earth so Christians can overcome the power of darkness; 3.Provide breakthrough and the appropriate solution by answering: 'What subjective and objective challenges in the environment are faced during healing and deliverance?'; and, 4.Learn ways to establish authority and victory for the army of the Lord, save people for God. Factors were isolated that contributed to the sustainability of such homes.  This qualitative study included case studies of two sustainable and two non-sustainable homes.  Workers from each home were interviewed with queries relating to how the home was organized, managed, assessed, and resources were received and utilized.  Chief findings related to how sustainability was viewed throughout each home beginning with strategic planning, how it was organized, and functioned.
