The time is now to reintroduce the biblical and theological framework needed for revival to sweep across the America once again. But I must ask the question, 'Does the body of Christ desire to be renewed in their relationship with Jesus and share the Truth that transforms lives?' To answer this issue/question, I have developed a thesis-project called Time to revive: wake up tot he truth that transforms lives. This thesis-project contains four essential components - desire, design, disciple and divine - that serve as a model for any city interested in pursuing revival in our nation. With the conditions of revival (humility, prayer and fasting, seeking His face, and repentance) implemented in our lives, God has promised He will faithfully respond (2 Chronicles 7:14). However, God's response will vary in every location. When analyzing the effectiveness of a revival, in a location such as Sedona, Arizona, the most significant outcome is that the kingdom of God will be furthered by believers being revived, the lost are hearing the Good News of Jesus (evangelism) and being saved, and disciples are making disciples. These results occur not because of man's effort. These challenges can include financial and health concerns, future living arrangements, final wishes, and discovering the ultimate value of one's life. Tragically however, widows, widowers, the never-married and divorcees are often left to contend with such issues alone. Meanwhile, they may have adult children who will also be deeply affected by these issues, and are able to help. But that help rarely comes. Instead silence, ignorance, and misunderstanding prevail between the generations regarding the realities that will impact them both.  This project is an examination of these issues and the reasons that prevent aging parents and their adult children from discussing them constructively. Subjects were exposed to five different expository sermons in the two sermon forms and their responses to a questionnaire were collected the next day (N-1,000).  There was no significant difference between the sermon forms and the subjects ability to recall the big idea.  Narrative sermons are as equally effective as propositional sermons in recall. Sixty Chinese scholars who have become Christians since coming to North America were surveyed.  The author examined the qualitative research, analyzed the answers and observed and organized answers most given. Christians caring and sharing their lives was the top factor that encouraged belief and bad behavior of Christians was the top factor impeding belief.  In addition, too much pressure applied in sharing the Gospel was also a key item that impeded build multi-ethnic biblical unity in contemporary churches and to grow congregations multi-ethnically as the United States increases in diversity. The theological foundations for multi-ethnic congregations are presented. The complexities and strategies for preaching to multi-ethnic congregations are discussed. A manual utilizing this information on biblical unity and meeting its challenges is offered as a seminar tool for those wishing to train ministers to communicate effectively in order to build multi-ethnicity in their churches. The problem at hand is answering the question of how a nine year old church remains committed to honoring God and making more disciples for Jesus Christ. The hypothesis is that if that church remains committed to a biblical vision, it will remain honoring to God and making disciples. The project tested this hypothesis with a congregation survey to understand attitudes towards Timberwood Church's vision. Chapter one gave the history of Timberwood, which started on Easter Sunday 2004. Chapter two outlined some biblical and theological foundations that support the biblical vision. Chapter three allowed the reader to place Timberwood in the history of evangelical thought and practice. Chapter four tested the hypothesis with a project that surveyed the regular attendees and members of Timberwood. This survey explored their understanding of the DNA and values of Timberwood Church as well as attitudes towards the same.
