With no curriculum or tools already in place to train and equip church members for this ministry, Stephen Ministry was suggested. To consider the place of Stephen Ministry in the context of Granada, a review of Stephen Ministry in relation to other potential training systems was conducted to shed light on its strengths and weaknesses. The studies served to confirm the choice of Stephen Ministry as the best system for Granada to use. In this reality, this paper is a practical product of applying the principles of the youth revival discovered in 'the revival of the Bible,' 'the natural church development theory,' and 'the great revival movement of the Korean church' to the youth division of Hwado Methodist Church for the revival. The author combined series of sermons with small group activity for death preparatory education. With the sermons on the theme of good death, the study utilized the death preparatory theory of Alfons Deeken as contents of small group programs. The author designed the program for the elderly church members and conducted with class meetings. The research consisted of an examination of the order of salvation with biblical, theological and historical considerations, and tests measuring participants' understanding of the process with follow-up focus groups afterwards. The researcher examined the literature dealing with the promises of the covenant to parents and their children. The researcher conducted interviews with Christian parents who have adult church-dropout children, and adults who had been church dropouts and returned to faith. The goal of this Doctor of Ministry project involved researching two case studies of church-sponsored community gardens and one case study of a community garden sponsored by a Christian college that were created between 2003-2012 in order to discern some best practices for launching a Christ-centered community garden. The author interviewed 14 leaders of diverse congregations in the Twin Cities. The author also used exercises in intercultural competence in three congregational gatherings and interviewed 20 members of the congregation. The heuristic model was developed using the methodology of action research with four participation groups at Mount Hamilton Baptist Church to cultivate awareness and facilitate practices of faithful presence. The model is based on Epistle of James, the life of Jesus and adapts David Kolb's experiential learning paradigm. Data collection tools included: a questionnaire, interviews, and journal logs.
