The author studied definition and theological understanding of communication, dialogical preaching as communication, and theological foundation of dialogical preaching. He suggested four methods/models of dialogical preaching in Life Stream Church. The analysis suggests that preacher can more effectively transmit well Word of God to congregation. Congregation also more understand and meet with God's word. They make an effort themselves to practice words of God in their real life. It provides the community with a practical discipline for loving one's neighbor by speaking the truth in love. This paper examines the creation and implementation of a behavioral covenant in a declining sixty-year old congregation in the grip of covert and overt bullying. During the four year span studied, 2008-2012, the implementation of the covenant created major impacts, crises, and changes for the pastor, lay-leadership, and congregation. The author of this paper interviewed ten senior pastors within the Tuckahoe Baptist Association to address the lack of intentional mentoring of associate ministers by senior pastors. Currently, there is no known model for training or mentoring associates ministers. However, in many rural communities, the leadership, both ordained and lay, are not sufficiently theologically grounded and educationally cultivated to meet the challenges of leadership. The author created this ministry tool to affirm, inform, empower and bridge the gap between a pastor and ministry leaders, particularly the deacon's ministry, in a rural Black Baptist church. The author dialogued with twelve physicians focusing on the topic of grief and faith. These physicians shared storied of patients' deaths that were stressful that are consistent with national and international research on the topic.
