While we rejoice for this open door and the opportunity for the gospel, we also see the challenges in establishing the new believers in the biblical faith as wll as the development of leaders for the emerging churches. The challenge of developing leaders becomes more complex as many of them are oral learners. One of the ways to face the challenge is to use oral methods in training leaders. This thesis describs the opportunities and challenges in Bihar, India. It surveys mission history, particularly focused on the Bihar Reach-Out Network. It builds a biblical and theological foundation for consideration of orality. The mixed methods research approach was utilized, revealing realistic expectations, a stewardship plan, leadership development plan, and planter peer group all assisted a church transition. Successful churches evangelized adults aged 19-30 and had at least 100 people in attendance by year three. They recognized developed organizational systems and implemented a stewardship development plan that created a culture of giving that became apparent by year three. Baisas, OFM, as a staring point. He delved deeply into the type of spirituality that they have embraced in living their respective religious vocations in the Philippines. These were then respectfully and critically put into dialogue with the Philippine realities and the Christian tradition on religious life, mysticism, prophecy and contextualization using the insights of Sandra Schneiders, IHM, Aloysisu Pieris, SJ, Stephen Bevans, SVD, and the Second Plenary Council of the Philippines, respectively. The said dialogue used a personally-designed model and method in theological reflection in ministry patterned after those of James Whitehead and Evelyn Eaton Whitehead, as well as that of Bernard Lonergan, SJ. The result is the formation of a description of a contextual mystico-prophetic spirituality as a relevant form of spirituality for religious in the Philippines and an elaboration of some of its characteristic features. In-depth interviews were conducted with 25 members of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) located in Crookston, Minnesota. The two topics of hearing the voice of God in community and consensus-based decision-making were explored. An action plan for the future ministry of the church was developed. Many people have been seeking the Christian faith after obtaining religious freedom.  In today's China, thousands of people receive baptism without proper instruction about Church teaching and practice.  As a result, only a small number remain faithful to their baptismal commitment.  In considering today's new situation, I conducted interviews with catechists who have had experience working on this program in the diocese.  I think the Catholic Church in China faces two critical issues: 1) inadequate preparation for those who wish to be baptized, and 2) inadequate ongoing faith formation and communal support for those who have been baptized...
