The curriculum educated the leadership team in the field of biblical worship as well as the characteristics and formative events that define the four primary adult generations present at Summit baptist Church. The third phase of this project resulted in expanding the music leadership team to include members of every adult generation at Summit, presenting the curriculum to the team, and equipping the team to function as a worship planning team. He devised an equipping workshop to introduce a group of church members to the concepts of worldview and orality, and to Bible storying as a culturally appropriate orality-based mission strategy for developing house church leaders among the internally displaced people of Colombia. The project utilized several evaluative measures, including an expert-evaluated annotated bibliography, and expert critique of the lesson plans, pre- and post-workshop questionnaires, and a workshop evaluation form. The project director increased his knowledge of worldview and its implications for mission strategy. He also increased his understanding of orality and of Bible storying as a contextually-appropriate orality-based missions methodology. Secondly, the project director enlisted a select group of pastors, churches and convention staff, and associational workers to serve on a strategic task force. Thirdly, the director and task force developed a strategy for disciple making in an African American community church plant. A group of pastors and churches assigned to the project director participated in the project by teaching some disciple making materials to their congregations. The project director trained the participants during four instructional sessions on a Saturday. The project director also distributed additional materials for personal application. The first session of the workshop included instructing the selected members on the reason for a greeter ministry. The project director discussed biblical foundations and resources for a greeter ministry. Session two of the workshop focused on the responsibilities of the selected members for an effective greeter ministry. In the third session of the workshop, the group evaluated the comments from a 'secret worshipper' and developed a plan to enhance a guest's experience. Role-playing was utilized in the third session for the purpose of training the group. It surveys the faith stories of seven evangelical leaders and their sons from the mid-twentieth century to the present. It also surveys the canon of scripture to see how the baton of faith is passed or not passed from fathers to sons. Using an author-developed questionaire, the seven case studies were evaluated in the areas of conversion experience, subsequent challenges to faith, and relationship between fathers and sons. In addition this research examines father/son relationships through the entire canon of scripture.
