Because of the resistance and difficulties they face in the ministry job market many of these women are expressing anger and disillusionment with the church and with God. Some are even entertaining the idea of walking away from their faith altogether. Reformed and sacramental refer to the traditional Presbyterian doctrines of the Supper as articulated by John Calvin and professed in the confessions of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The praxis director preached a sermon series, taught a class, and wrote a hymn, with the goal of increasing the value the congregation places on the sacrament. This dissertation has three hypotheses. (1) There is an association between parental feelings of failure and coping with adolescent rebellion. (2) There is an association between parental feelings of guilt and coping with adolescent rebellion. (3) There is an association between parental feelings of blame and coping with adolescent rebellion. The Family Values Questionnaire was given to eight families of various compositions, each unit contained least one parent and one adolescent rebelling against the family's values and beliefs. To answer the research questions, qualitative research methods were used, specifically methodological triangulation: a questionnaire was disseminated to one group, and interviews were conducted with two other groups of prayer ministers. The instruments were developed for data collection. A pilot study was conducted ensuring reliability and validity; adjustments were made accordingly. The author reflects on his own leadership experiences, bibliographic sources, and research interviews with fourteen mega-church senior pastors from across America. The conclusions of this study suggest that biblical teamwork occurs when the cause of Christ is advanced in the contet of loving community. In accomplishing such a needy task, I start with a brief survey of the history of Haiti to establish the sitz im leben, followed by a biblical defense for the project, and some literature reviews. To flesh out the project, I design a seven course module to train Haitian pastor-leaders in the following concentration: 1) A comprehensive approach to Bible reading, 2) Overview of the Bible (Old and New Testament), 3) Overview of Christian doctrine, 4) Introduction to some major events of Church history, 5) Introduction to Christian leadership and social ethics, 6) Introduction to preaching principle and practice, 7) Introduction to pastoral counseling and Christian ethics. These courses will explore personal, relational emotional, spiritual, and social (P.R.E.S.S.) aspects.
