The Project Director designed curriculum to demonstrate this idea, and tested it on a group of six Christian artists in Marin County, California. The project followed the activities and progress of the group, both in their production of art and in their spiritual development. The participating artists provided feedback through instruments employed by the director to measure their development and how that development grew out of their collaborative art. This study hypothesized that a biblically oriented marriage enrichment course concerning relationship self-regulation (RSR) would increase both personal responsibility for marriage and marital satisfaction in marriage and that RSR, as a measure of personal responsibility, would positively correlate with marital satisfaction (MS). Forty-three couples were assessed on their relationship self-regulation and marital satisfaction, pre and post course. Through a leadership workshop and follow-up meetings leaders were prepared to use studies of the church and communtiy to arrive at detailed plans to address the brriers found. The project director utilized the research model described in the current New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Doctor of Ministry Handbook. The project director researched a wide range of sources to gain a foundational understanding of bivocational pastoral ministry in the Morgan Baptist Association in Morgan County, Alabama. The project director used the material discovered through the research to develop a manual that may be used by churches in their search for and selection of a bivocational pastor. Based on the research, the project director developed four one-hour sessions. A total of nine men participated in the four training sessions. The four sessions involved cultivating the most important relationship, understanding the importance of leadership in the family, working on becoming a servant leader in the marriage, and modeling Christian fatherhood to children. A working outline of the project goals included the following: to research the field of literature concerning men in family leadership skills, to develop training sessions so the selected men could become effective spiritual leaders in family leadership skills, and to equip the men in effective family leadership skills. However, the Bible reveals that choir is a God-ordained ministry, for heavenly and earthly worship.
