The content focus of the curriculum was on core longings (the blessings of God) and emotional healing. At the conclusion of the nine week curriculum, the participants completed a post assessment questionnaire to measure their increased understanding and awareness of core longings. The focus of the project was for participants to learn how to incorporate transparency into their daily lives through various teachings, practicing accountability, communicating true feelings, developing a deeper intimacy with God, and experiencing formational prayer. The author assessed the goals by using a rating scale. Data indicated that transparency was impacted significantly. As a result, participants indicated high-level knowledge of computers, and average to minimal knowledge and use of information resources via today's technology. This qualitative study reviewed the strategy theologically, missiologically and practically. The field research involved the tracking and interviewing of twenty planters over three months of training. The most significant findings included that the church planters report that getting together with other church planters and having interaction in class is the single most helpful factor in their training. For the purpose, first of all, this thesis-project examines the past and present of the Korean Protestant Church. Secondly, this thesis-project explores the spirituality of the Korean Protestant Church and the cultural factors which influenced Christianity in Korea. Thirdly, this thesis-project observes the place of the Bible in the Christian tradition and lectio divina in Guigo II's book, The Ladder of Monks. Fourthly, this thesis-project examines the relationship between lectio divina and non-Christian Korean culture, Korean Protestant spirituality. This thesis-project also suggests both an individual lectio divina and communal lectio divina for the Korean Protestant Church. Participants completed a quantitative pre-test and quantitative post-test, including qualitative questions. The results of the study indicated that the Healing Care Groups Curriculum had a positive impact on the spiritual renewal of the participants. Examples abound in the Old Testament where God's people and messengers are exhorted to declare tot he nations with joyful song and testimony what the Lord God Almighty has done. In the New Testament, the angels who brought the Good News to the shepherds, the Lord Jesus Christ himself and the apostles furnish practical illustrations of joyful exuberance in proclaiming the gospel. But there seems to be a dearth of recipients and custodians of the Good News who are eager to go out and share the gospel with joyful passion powered by the joy of the Lord. This project embarked on recruiting and motivationally training believers from churches in USA to become confident and joyful participant sharers of the Good News. Traditional American blues melodies in the public domain offered a rich source of musical accompaniment for Peruvian worship songs. A congregation in Tarapoto, Peru, participated in a series of six lyric writing workshops using an action research model. Group poetry writing methods based on the work of Kenneth Koch were implemented. Elements of the lament psalms were incorporated into each workshop song.
