The purpose of this project was to design a discipleship strategy for Flatonia Baptist Church (FBC), Flatonia, Texas. The project director performed an assessment of the current demographics and spiritual maturity level of discipleship participants in his local church, researched the field of discipleship, and interviewed church leaders to determine best practices in churches regarding discipleship strategies. This information was presented to the strategic Leadership Team (SLT) in order to aid in the development and design of a discipleship strategy for the church. The strategy that was developed by the SLT was presented to the deacon body of the church for adoption.
