Abstrait

This project helped strengthen the prayer lives of twelve people at Quinault Baptist Church (Kennewick, Washington). The training consisted of a weekend prayer retreat and a ten-week support group. Each participant took the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and learned about their psychological type. Participants then learned four different types of prayer as taught in Prayer and Temperament: Different Prayer Forms of Different Personality Types by Chester P Michael and Marie C Norrisey. Test scores and interviews proved that knowing different types of prayers and understanding the impact of temperament in spirituality may enrich one's prayer life.
