The purpose of this project was to equip collegiate athletes with practical and biblical skills for missional living in their unique contexts. I designed and implemented a four-session retreat that combined theological foundations, leadership development, and the 4MAT teaching model to help student leaders integrate biblical truth with daily practice. This approach was grounded in the conviction that Gen Z athletes require more than information transfer; they need a holistic transformation that shapes identity, relationships, and mission. The methodology included pre-retreat preparation, lesson design, and implementation within the Auburn University Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Each session followed the 4MAT cycle, Why, What, How, and What If, to ensure engagement across diverse learning styles. Evaluations drew from feedback from ministry leaders, participant reflection forms, and direct observation. The results demonstrated growth in participants’ confidence, clarity, and practice of missional living. Students reported greater understanding of their identity in Christ, increased boldness in gospel conversations, and commitment to servant leadership.
