  • This study developed from the question: Is the first person narrative more effective than the sermon in communicating the truths of the Word of God? The hypothesis was that the first person narrative is more effective than the traditional sermon in communicating the truths of the Word of God. The test design was similar to the Solomon Four Group Design. The hypothesis was not proven to be true. The test design did not indicate that the first person narrative was more effective than the traditional sermon.
