Abstract
  • Leaders can be developed through a program designed to teach characteristics of leadership and leadership roles, styles and skills. This project was developed from a survey of secular and Christian leadership writings. It involved eight small group sessions where participants interacted to reinforce the concepts being taught. Sessions dealt with the following topics: the Bible and leadership; personality; spiritual gifts; communication; motivation, power and conflict management; time management; and Southern Baptist history doctrine, and polity.
