Abstrakt

This project compares church growth emphases with the perspective of spiritual gifts. The project develops exegetical and historical perspectives of spiritual gifts and devises a strategy for church growth utilizing spiritual gifts. Participants identified their spiritual gifts by participating in a spiritual gifts workshop. The workshop divided participants into two ministry groups and facilitated their exercising those gifts in ministry. A church growth committee, comprised of persons with the gift of administration, developed plans for growth. Gifted participants, possessing other spiritual gifts, made those plans a reality. The project develops a continuing process for church growth based upon spiritual gifts.
